Vicki has a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University. She was introduced to Pilates in 2001, and in 2003 she began her intensive training in the Classical Pilates Method. Eternally a student, Vicki has continued her training with students of Joseph Pilates and Romana Kryzanowska; Chris Robinson, Kathy Ross Nash, Jay Grimes, Sandy Shimoda, and Sonje Mayo. She began her teaching at the renowned

Cooper Aerobic Center in Dallas, Texas.

In addition to teaching private pilates sessions, she is a certified personal trainer, TRX, and spin instructor.  Vicki was also the pilates instructor for Dallas Ballet Center, working with dancers of all ages and the

Dallas Ballet Company.

In 2007, she was injured, and after trying various therapies with no success, a friend suggested Muscle Activation Technique (MAT). This experience, and love of anatomy and neurophysiology, led to her going back to school in Denver, Colorado to pursue becoming a Muscle Activation Technique Specialist. Pilates and MAT fit perfectly together and the combination gave her the tools needed to provide clients with the best strength, stability, and mobility they need to perform any activity to their highest capability. Who knew she would be going to school for 7 years. She has gone through the Specialist, Masters and Rx full body and Wrist/Hand/Foot.

In 2015, Vicki began the steps toward opening her own studio, Muscle Activation Dallas. She currently works with athletes, ranging from novice to professional; including the NFL, NHL, and local high school athletes. Vicki specializes in working with clients who have spine and back issues such as Scoliosis.  “I am very lucky to be able to share my two passions with so many and I love helping people experience the excitement of being strong, flexible, centered and balanced.”

Kris Lezetc

Certified Pilaties Instructor

Kris began her study of the Classical Method as a student in Los Angeles California, after suffering a life threatening accident shattering her leg and hip. She decided to pursue her certification in the classical method to rehabilitate her own body.
Kris started her studies of the full comprehensive program at the Pilates Institute of Southern California under the instruction of Stacy Vargas. Shortly thereafter, moving to Nashville, she was introduced to Master Instructor Sonje Mayo. Upon learning that Sonje studied directly under Joseph Pilates as a dancer, she made the decision to return to her studies where she received a full comprehensive certification with Peak Pilates under the tutelage of Sonje.
After completion of the program, Kris founded the classical pilates program at the Gordon Jewish Community Center and Hillwood Country club in Nashville. She also runs her private practice rehabilitating people with injuries and spinal conditions such as scoliosis, which is her passion. Her focus is form and fundamentals, having had a massive traumatic injury herself, her goal is to help others live pain free.
